Job Description

Work Description:

As a Support Analyst/Fresher, your primary responsibility is to establish and maintain positive working relationships with teams and clients, aiming to surpass client expectations. In addition to the technical qualifications listed below, you are expected to possess the following skills:

  • Effective collaboration and communication skills
  • Quick learning ability
  • Readiness to work in various shifts, including night shifts, and unconventional working hours (evenings, weekends, and holidays if necessary) to address critical production issues and deployments
  • Willingness to undertake tasks such as monitoring, job scheduling, regular health checks, resolving simple issues using defined SOPs, and daily reporting
  • Prompt response to alerts, incidents, and user queries
  • Active participation in daily standup meetings and timely escalation of issues to seniors when required
  • Maintain open communication with stakeholders regarding incident updates and resolutions
  • Resolve incidents assigned during the designated shift promptly
  • Collaborate effectively with senior team members to resolve incidents
  • Proficient documentation skills
  • Continuous updating of skills and knowledge related to new technologies and products
  • Proactive identification of recurring issues and contribution to process improvements

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should exhibit strength in the following areas:

  • Database, Big Data, and ETL concepts
  • Experience in writing SQL queries, performing data extraction and manipulations, and understanding database performance and tuning

It is beneficial to have basic knowledge in at least one of the following skills:

  • Azure
  • Informatica
  • AWS
  • Snowflake
  • Tableau
  • Power BI
  • Python
  • MS Excel Macros
