Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive credit research across the corporate capital structure.
• Collaborate with a senior analyst to cover one or more industry sectors, analyzing economic, competitive, and political factors affecting a borrower’s credit quality.
• Contribute trade ideas, participate in relative value discussions, and engage in trade structuring with portfolio managers.
• Engage with management teams, industry sources, sell-side analysts, and other investment professionals to gather insights.
• Synthesize and evaluate information from various sources to develop long-term, well-researched investment theses on credits, sectors, and issuers.
• Build historical and projected financial models, analyze key financial and operational metrics, and conduct in-depth valuation assessments.
• Present credit opinions and investment recommendations through written reports and oral presentations to portfolio managers, analysts, advisory committees, and external clients.

Eligibility Criteria:

• 1–3 years of experience in credit and financial statement analysis, including expertise in analyzing companies, fixed income securities, and equity investments.
• MBA or equivalent qualification in Finance with an outstanding academic record; CFA certification is a plus.
• Advanced financial analysis and modeling skills with a focus on evaluating companies, fixed income securities, or equity investments.
• Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis.
• Familiarity with bond and loan covenants; experience with leveraged loan credits and syndication processes is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Strong analytical mindset with a logical and detail-oriented work approach.
• Ability and enthusiasm to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
