We are seeking a Junior Data Engineer to play a pivotal role in advancing the technical development of crucial sales tools and business workflows by leveraging data for decision-making. The primary objective is to enhance the productivity of the sales team by establishing future-state best practices for business analytics. This involves defining, designing, and implementing AWS/BI technologies and services to facilitate data analysis in support of strategic programs and ongoing business requirements. The position includes the creation of analytical reports and the development of a BI layer, leading to actionable conclusions. The role is based in Bangalore and offers a hybrid work arrangement.
Responsibilities:
Hands-on involvement in designing, developing, and implementing optimal, scalable data pipelines.
Understanding, implementing, and automating ETL pipelines according to industry best practices.
Proficient working knowledge of Python.
Extraction of complex data from multiple sources to generate meaningful reports and analyses.
Demonstrating creativity to surpass existing tools and provide optimal solutions to problems.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams to comprehend data extracted from diverse applications.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, etc.
0 to 2 years of relevant experience as a data engineer.
Proficiency in working with SQL.
Strong knowledge of Python.
Experience with DBT, Airflow, Snowflake, and Jenkins.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
