Job Description: Electrical Engineer Intern
Educational Qualification:
- Degree or Master’s in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand electrical concepts, including three-phase power calculations.
- Perform complex polar and Cartesian calculations for power estimation.
- Comprehend the working principles of electrical and electronic components.
- Familiarize with electrical circuit protection concepts and components.
- Understand the operating principles of various sensors.
- Quickly develop expertise in AC power distribution design.
- Create and modify detailed drawings using Computer-Aided Design (E3S CAD) tools, based on sketches, layouts, or notes provided by engineers.
- Contribute to design modifications to improve manufacturing operations or product quality.
Job-Specific Knowledge:
- Grasp electrical engineering design concepts and techniques; ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
- Experience with Electrical CAD tools such as E3s and AutoCAD Electrical is advantageous.
- Knowledge of PLCs, drives, and other electrical components and equipment.
- Ability to work on electrical panel schematics and related documentation.
- Basic understanding of electrical engineering principles.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new best-known methods (BKMs) quickly.
- Skills in the selection and application of PLCs, drives, and other electrical components.
Required and Desirable Skills:
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of an international team.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering.
