Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement efficient, robust, and scalable development/testing infrastructure and tools.
Undertake a highly technical, hands-on role requiring a deep understanding of software, hardware, and test environments within resource-constrained settings.
Demonstrate motivation, research capability, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
Collaborate effectively with teams of developers and test engineers across the organization.
Participate in all phases of the cellular integration process, contributing directly to the enhancement of the customer experience for millions of users.
Exhibit a genuine passion for performance, automation, and software, coupled with hands-on experience in automation.
Eligibility Criteria:
Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering.
Possess an equivalent, meaningful experience in the field.
Preferred skills:
Led small engineering teams in roles such as a tech lead or manager, demonstrating effective leadership skills.
Possess extensive expertise in cellular baseband development and testing within the technology domain.
Established and managed test systems for comprehensive cellular functionality testing across 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G networks.
Proficient in debugging 4G and 5G live networks, as well as addressing simulator failures.
Demonstrated the ability to drive defect analysis and identify root causes in collaboration with project teams.
Proven knowledge of cellular network operations, including understanding of Phy, protocol network layers, bands, etc.
Strong scripting skills, with a preference for Python and Perl, coupled with adept debugging capabilities.
Hands-on experience with Git, Gerrit, and Jenkins job configurations, along with a deep understanding of software development flow and continuous integration processes.
Successfully set up Mac-based hosts and installed automation tools for crafting test setups.
Expertise in executing cellular system test automation and isolating issues, both software and hardware-related.
Exhibit teamwork, diligence, and effective communication skills.
