About the Role
As an L1 Support team member, you will be part of the CMS command center, working in the Australia Operations Banking domain on rotational shifts. You will support multiple critical C1 applications in a production environment. The role requires the ability to interact with individuals at all levels, work independently, and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
Role Type: Permanent Role Location: Bangalore Work Hours: 7:00am – 4:00pm
What Your Day Will Look Like
Monitor continuous batch/jobs and application health dashboards.
Work as a team player, ready to work in a 24/7 environment.
Perform daily health checks on approximately 50+ C1/C2 applications.
Report the daily status of batches/jobs to customers and stakeholders.
Analyze job failures, conduct initial incident triage, and perform workarounds for long-running batches and job failures.
Follow established escalation processes and use KBs/Runbooks to restore services.
Generate and send daily, weekly, and monthly reports to the business.
Liaise with application teams to resolve application issues.
Participate in daily Scrum and stand-up calls.
What You Will Bring
0-3 years of experience in SQL and Unix/Linux.
Hands-on knowledge of Shell scripting or Python is advantageous.
Continuous measurement of SLA Response and Resolution.
Experience in service improvement activities, such as incident reduction and the use of AI for application stability.
Knowledge of batch monitoring and workflow.
Understanding of Incident Management and ITIL processes.
Experience in application/production support.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
A collaborative team player mindset.
Good to Have Skills
Hands-on knowledge of application/production environments.
ITIL V4, AWS certification, and proficiency in Python or other scripting languages.
Experience with incident management tools like ServiceNow or BMC Remedy.
Familiarity with batch monitoring tools like Control-M, IBM-Tivoli, or Autosys.
Strong problem-solving and resolution skills.
Excellent communication and writing skills.
Customer focus and strong relationship management skills.
Ability to work autonomously and collaborate with the application support team and other team members.
