Job Summary
Transaction Risk Investigator – Level 2 (Work from Office Role)
Please note that this position is seasonal (FTC) for six months under Amazon’s payroll.
About the Team
Amazon India seeks dedicated, analytical individuals with a proven performance record to join the Transaction Risk Management Team in Bangalore. Responsibilities include investigating and mitigating risks in online e-commerce. Ideal candidates possess experience in e-commerce payments, trust and safety, and thrive in customer-centric environments. The role demands analytical skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced team.
The Investigator role requires sound judgment, operating with minimal supervision. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are vital for verifying customers and transactions accurately, with decisions expected to be independent and precise.
Key Responsibilities
Researching and evaluating seller transactions Taking appropriate action based on standard procedures and tools Documenting actions with detailed annotations Communicating with internal and external stakeholders via phone or email Understanding and resolving issues efficiently using available resources Systematically escalating problems as per protocols Analyzing performance metrics to drive business goals Meeting productivity targets and quality standards
Basic Qualifications
Graduate in any discipline 0-1 years of work experience Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken) Ability to handle and interpret large data sets Demonstrated ability to work effectively in dynamic team environments
Preferred Qualifications
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with all levels Global perspective and understanding of business objectives Attention to detail and accuracy in work
Additional Information
Rotational shifts in a 24/7 environment, changing every 3-4 months Rotational two-consecutive day offs in a 5-day working week, changing every 3-4 months
