Job Description
About the role:
In a dynamic environment, the role involves automating dashboards, monitoring key success metrics, managing WBR reports, identifying business challenges, and collaborating on solutions with Amazon Pay teams. The ideal candidate excels in deriving actionable insights from data, innovating, and becoming a subject matter expert to assess business performance across various Amazon Pay areas. Proficiency in automation, data analysis, trend identification, conclusion extraction, and clear presentation using various data sources is essential, aligning with Amazon’s strategic objectives. Problem-solving skills and proficiency in VBA and other automation tools are required.
Key job responsibilities:
- Understanding drivers, impacts, and key influences in the BizOps Domain.
- Collaborating with the business team to establish key performance indicators and new measurement methodologies.
- Translating data into actionable insights.
- Automating reporting for weekly business metrics and identifying opportunities for further automation and scalable ad-hoc analyses.
- Conducting complex data analysis (root cause deep dives, correlations, regressions, simulations, and optimization) to pinpoint opportunities for process improvement.
- Developing infrastructure and implementing maintenance strategies for internal datasets to facilitate swift analysis for critical business inquiries.
