Key Responsibilities :

  • Demonstrate effective, articulate, and professional written and oral communication skills in the English language.
  • Manage both inbound and outbound calls and provide email support in English.
  • Candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to Chennai and work remotely within the city limits.
  • Ensure access to fixed-line internet (high-speed broadband) and backup power to support the duration of assigned shifts.
  • Deliver prompt and efficient service to Amazon Selling Partners, including appropriate escalation of issues, while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
  • Exhibit excellent time-management skills and the ability to work independently, adhering to departmental resources, policies, and procedures.
  • Foster a positive team environment and offer proactive assistance to team members during challenging interactions.
  • Uphold acceptable performance metrics, including quality, productivity, first-contact resolution, and attendance.
  • Utilize logical reasoning and data interpretation skills to actively seek solutions and identify trends, forwarding improvement suggestions to the appropriate channels.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as Customer Service, Merchant Investigations, or Payments teams, as necessary, to resolve Selling Partners’ issues and inquiries.

  • Proficiency in technical aspects related to computers and the internet is essential.
  • Act as a dedicated advocate for Selling Partners, leading initiatives to enhance processes and tools.
  • Exhibit enthusiasm and strong self-motivation in carrying out responsibilities.
  • Possess strong prioritization and time management abilities, coupled with a high degree of flexibility.
  • Embrace and adapt to ongoing changes with flexibility and a positive attitude.
  • Display a suitable sense of urgency in responding to contacts despite varying workloads.
  • Communicate effectively, maintaining composure and professionalism at all times.
  • Maintain an exemplary performance record, particularly in terms of quality and productivity.

Preferred skills:

  • Desired skill sets include proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and familiarity with internet browsers such as Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox.
  • Previous experience in a customer service setting is advantageous, with a willingness to diversify skills into new domains.
  • Possess business acumen in e-commerce and retail sectors.
