The job responsibilities of the Apprentice/College Intern at HP include:
- Performing accuracy checks of standard costs maintained in the database
- Assisting with report extraction from ERP and compiling it using MS Office tools
- Assisting with period over period fluctuation analysis of inventory-related costs
- Participating in business review meetings
- Initiating ad-hoc projects to bring efficiencies in regular processes
The key skills required for this position are:
- Accounting and analytical skills
- Proficiency in ERP (S4 Hana) and MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI)
- Interpersonal skills
The position is typically filled by university students who are enrolled in apprenticeship programs or working during their study or summer breaks between university semesters. The position may be used in countries where specialized apprenticeship programs exist, and in selected countries where it is not common to differentiate based on academic year completed.
