Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams to gather and define software requirements.
Design, develop, and test software solutions tailored for the IBM Z platform.
Utilize programming languages such as Java, C/C++, Assembler, and PL to create high-quality software.
Ensure solutions meet client expectations and adhere to project timelines and quality standards.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices and processes.
Eligibility Criteria:
Proficiency in backend development, unit testing, and integration testing.
Strong knowledge of C/C++ programming, including client-server programming, inter-process communication, and networking/protocol concepts.
Solid low-level design, problem-solving, and debugging skills, with a willingness to learn new skills and concepts like z/OS.
Experience with Git for version control.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with Java or C# .Net programming.
Experience with test automation frameworks.
Knowledge of z/OS concepts.
Understanding of CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Tekton.
Exposure to container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
