Job Description
Chimera Technologies Off Campus Hiring 2024 – Jr SW Engineer
As a Junior Software Engineer, your responsibilities include:
- Taking full responsibility for user-reported issues and resolving them effectively.
- Conducting research, diagnosing problems, troubleshooting, and implementing solutions to address system-related challenges.
- Adhering to standard procedures for escalating unresolved issues to relevant internal teams.
- Independently managing issue resolution and fixes.
- Preparing daily status updates for supervisors and working collaboratively with team members.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Java and APIs.
- Hands-on experience with JSP, XSLT, Selenium, and unit testing.
- Ability to review support tickets, conduct root cause analysis (RCA), and devise solutions.
- Familiarity with the insurance domain is an added advantage.
- Capable of conducting manual application testing before finalizing ticket resolutions.
- Knowledge of test reporting processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exposure to Selenium tools is considered a plus.
- Confidence to interact and collaborate directly with client stakeholders.
