Key Responsibilities:
Implement new software features for malware detection, adhering to high-quality standards and best engineering practices.
Design, develop, debug, and test complex software solutions in areas such as systems software, development tools, or applications.
Demonstrate proficiency in C++ coding and debugging, along with a solid understanding of Windows user-mode programming and system internals.
Innovate and create new mechanisms for malware detection to enhance protection for McAfee customers.
Eligibility Criteria:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science with over 1 year of experience in C++ programming and strong understanding of data structures is preferred.
Familiarity with development cycles, including code review, source control, code quality automation scanning, bug resolution, unit and developer testing, and product release processes.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Windows user-mode programming and system internals is considered a plus.
Working knowledge of VC++, STL, and MFC is advantageous.
Proficiency in tools such as Windbg, Coverity, and App Verifier is desirable.
Knowledge of malware analysis is an added advantage but not mandatory.
