Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for design, coding, testing, bug fixing, documentation, and providing technical support in the assigned area.
- Ensure on-time delivery while meeting quality and productivity standards.
- Adhere to guidelines and checklists during deliverable reviews, submit status reports to the team lead, and follow all relevant organizational processes.
- Continuously enhance technical capabilities through training sessions, self-study, and periodic technical assessments.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Engineering graduate, MCA, or equivalent.
- Experience: 0-2 years.
Competencies:
- Perform Protocol Stack Testing on 2G/3G/LTE/5G technologies for Modem/UE.
- Conduct interoperability testing of modems with various network operators and collaborate with NEM labs (e.g., Ericsson, Nokia, Alcatel-Lucent).
- Understand network scenarios (signaling and user plane call flows), develop test plans and test cases, and execute them using an automation framework.
- Collect necessary logs, analyze/debug issues during regression testing.
- Proficient in 3GPP Radio Access Technologies (RAT) including air interface, network signaling, Layer 2, Layer 3 protocols (UE & RAN), and NAS layer from UE and core network.
- Automate processes using scripting languages like PERL, Python, and TTCN.
Platforms:
- Internal and customer-specific platforms.
- Linux host systems.
Technology Standards:
- Thorough understanding of 3GPP specifications and Network Vendor tests.
Tools:
- Familiarity with QXDM, QCAT, QPST, Prism, Anritsu, Keysight test instruments.
- Experience with test scripting tools like RTD (for Anritsu) or equivalents.
- Proficient with trace/log collection tools, core dump analysis tools, and flashing tools.
Languages:
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell scripts, TCL, Python, Perl.
- Knowledge of C, C++, and TTCN.
Specialization:
- Expertise in 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G, INTEROP testing, and VSAT-SATCOM systems.
