Job Description
AMD Off Campus Hiring – Co-Op/ Intern
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist both internal and external customers in troubleshooting issues related to running workloads on models.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the team regarding relevant technologies and problem-solving.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure the resolution of all technical issues with quality solutions.
- Create and execute test plans to verify the functionality of the models.
- Design and develop high-performance functional models for AMD SoCs and platforms.
- Enhance the functionality, stability, and overall performance of current models.
- Innovate by developing new debugging features for improved efficiency.
- Collaborate with architecture teams to understand and simulate new designs.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Proficiency in writing high-performance system and application software using C/C++ in Windows and/or Linux environments.
- Strong knowledge of system architecture and software development processes is advantageous.
- Experience with functional modeling and architecture simulation is a plus.
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
