Key Responsibilities:
- Execute the Data Analytics (DA) strategy developed by Internal Audit (IA) management, focusing on audit responsibilities such as audit planning, creation of analytical tools, and providing innovative solutions to complex problems.
- Collaborate with audit teams to identify risks associated with business processes and facilitate strategic data sourcing, while developing innovative solutions to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of audit testing.
- Develop production-ready analytical tools to automate repeatable and reusable processes within the Internal Audit function.
- Build and manage relationships and maintain effective communication with audit team members.
Eligibility Criteria:
- 1-3 years of experience with a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics.
- Experience with RDBMS and SQL.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, with familiarity in text analytics and Natural Language Processing (NLP) using Python.
- Knowledge of basic statistics and statistical modeling.
- Experience with time series analysis, correlation, regression, and predictive modeling, and their application to data.
- Strong team player with excellent written and oral communication skills, able to convey relevant information clearly and concisely while handling multiple tasks.
- Strong contributor to the Data Science team, helping build analytical capabilities for the Internal Audit Division.
- Driven, motivated, and proactive in taking initiative to improve performance.
Preferred skills:
- Experience with advanced data analytics tools and techniques.
- Familiarity with machine learning algorithms, including exposure to supervised and unsupervised learning techniques such as Linear/Logistic Regression, SVM, Random Forest, and Boosting.
- Knowledge of clustering and pattern recognition techniques.
- Experience with visualization tools like Spotfire, QlikView, or Tableau is a plus.
- Creativity and innovation, with the ability to develop new ways to improve current processes and provide practical solutions that add value to the department.
