Job Description
The Software Engineer Analyst III is responsible for implementing applications that adhere to 12-factor principles to facilitate product development and iterative enhancements. This role collaborates on full-stack development, building both frontends (web or mobile) and backend services. Using test-driven development (TDD) and continuous integration, they ensure agility and product quality. The Software Engineer Analyst III also plays an active role in the team’s decision-making process, selecting the most suitable technologies and designs that align with user requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engages in iteration planning meetings, helping the team align on story tasks and priorities within the backlog.
- Participates in retrospectives to gather insights and create actionable plans for improving team dynamics and product quality.
- Attends daily standups with local and cross-functional teams to sync progress.
- Shares professional expertise with team members to support the collective knowledge and growth of the group.
- Practices paired programming and test-driven development regularly to build and enhance software products.
- Collaborates with the team to design and develop software systems and applications.
- Provides support for software products in user environments.
- Implements continuous integration, delivery, and deployment pipelines, and advocates for automated workflows.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Maintain and enhance Jenkins CI/CD pipelines for software deployment.
- Develop automation processes to streamline engineering tasks.
- Manage and support GitHub, its integrations, and related automation efforts.
- Oversee Artifactory usage, ensuring proper artifact management and deployment.
- Troubleshoot issues in various environments, including development, QA, and staging.
- Provide support during pre-production releases.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Preferred)
