Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, deploy, and maintain BI interfaces, including data visualizations, dashboards, and reports using Power BI.
Develop and execute database queries, conducting analyses to optimize Power BI report performance.
Design and create SQL queries, interpret advanced SQL queries, and extract or manipulate data for reporting and analysis purposes.
Possess a solid understanding of financial concepts such as revenue, sales, and margin, or have prior experience working in the finance domain.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather reporting requirements, translating them into actionable insights, and effectively communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Work closely with global stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver high-quality reports and visualizations that meet their expectations.
Analyze complex data sets to provide business insights and recommendations that support decision-making processes.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity through regular reviews, data validation, troubleshooting, and documentation.
Participate in the design and implementation of data governance policies and procedures.
Create custom visuals and KPIs to accurately represent complex financial data and metrics, implement row-level security, and understand the application security layer models in Power BI.
Enhance efficiency by utilizing Lean methodologies, automation, and digital integration to improve processes and foster business growth.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in reporting and analytics tools and techniques.
Eligibility Criteria:
Advanced skills and experience in Power BI report development (Pro License) and proficiency in Power BI Service management.
Strong understanding of Data Analysis Expressions (DAX).
Advanced knowledge of ETL processes using Power Query.
Expertise in building complex Power BI dashboards and data visualization.
Proficiency in designing and creating SQL queries, interpreting advanced SQL queries, and extracting/manipulating data for reporting and analysis.
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and Excel 365, including complex functions.
Knowledge of Power Platform tools such as Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Pages.
Preferred skills:
Experience in managing a similar reporting and analysis function.
Familiarity with Alteryx, Azure ML, and Python.
Strong grasp of mathematical concepts, particularly in statistics and probability.
Ability to drive, design, develop, deploy, and maintain BI-driven transformations in business and financial reporting using Power BI and SQL.
