Job Description

  • Understand and monitor the configuration of Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, utilizing Groovy and YAML.
  • Collaborate as a team player to coordinate and implement DevOps infrastructure.
  • Utilize DevOps tools within an AWS cloud environment, including Docker, GitHub/Bitbucket, Jenkins, Kubernetes, and SonarQube.
  • Contribute to the continuous integration and deployment infrastructure hosted both on-premises and in the AWS cloud.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement scalable services.
  • Ensure the enforcement of necessary quality and security gates for all applications onboarded to the environment.
  • Have knowledge of the Change Management process.
  • Evaluate the quality and effectiveness of project delivery using key performance indicators.
  • Stay updated with new technology options and vendor products, assessing their suitability for the company.

Skill Set:

  • Infrastructure: Proficiency in UNIX (preferably RHEL), AWS, and Windows.
  • Version Control: Hands-on experience with at least one Version Control System (VCS) tool such as Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket.
  • Build Tools: Experience with infrastructure used for CI/CD, including Jenkins, Nexus, or Sonar.
  • Cloud: Working knowledge of public cloud environments, with hands-on experience in creating and managing services on AWS using CloudFormation.
  • Container Platform: Familiarity with Docker or kaniko, Dockerfile, and experience with Kubernetes or EKS Environment.
  • Automation: Understanding of Ansible playbooks and Terraform, with hands-on experience in at least one scripting language such as Python, Groovy, or YAML.
  • Others: Familiarity with Agile methodologies, utilizing tools like JIRA and Scrum boards, and openness to learning new tools and technologies to support business needs.

Required Experience: 1-3 years of relevant experience.

Good to Have: Knowledge of development/programming using Java, Angular, or Node.js technologies.
