Job Description
Summary / Role Purpose:
- Join the Ansys Customer Excellence team to assist customers with their engineering simulation projects and integration of Ansys software into their design workflows, aiming to enhance Ansys’ business growth.
- Provide technical post-sales support utilizing engineering expertise, solve technical challenges, and gather customer feedback for product improvement.
- Collaborate within a dynamic team of engineers to deliver high-quality solutions, advance knowledge, and positively impact customer success and Ansys’ growth.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Apply engineering expertise and knowledge of Ansys Mechanical products to deliver top-tier technical support to Customers and Channel Partners.
- Interact with customers to diagnose issues, research solutions to complex problems, and enhance customer satisfaction with ANSYS products.
- Identify knowledge gaps based on industry trends and requirements, collaborating with subject matter experts to address them.
- Develop expertise in specific simulation areas and contribute to knowledge base creation.
- Design, construct, and maintain data pipelines.
- Participate in strategic initiatives and adapt to new responsibilities as needed.
- Learn and gain expertise in new technical areas.
- Develop simulation best practices, solutions, and FAQs for the knowledge base.
- Build long-term relationships with customers.
- Provide suggestions for product improvement and participate in application field testing of new releases.
Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Applied Mechanics, Aerospace, or Automotive Engineering.
- Proficiency in Structural mechanics & Finite Element Analysis.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to implement numerical models for practical engineering solutions.
- Engaging personality, curiosity for engineering, and a commitment to continuous learning.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Professional demeanor with a drive for success.
- Willingness to travel and work directly with customers.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience with commercial or in-house FEA software for real-world applications.
- 0-2 years of experience with relevant ANSYS software or similar commercial software.
- Knowledge of Python.
- Experience in engineering product development cycle is advantageous.
