Job Description
Job Purpose:
As an Associate Software Engineer, your role entails the design, development, and implementation of high-quality software solutions while adhering to coding standards and technical designs.
Essential Functions:
- Undertake full lifecycle software development, including writing well-designed, testable, and efficient code.
- Generate specifications and assess operational feasibility.
- Integrate software components to create a fully operational software system.
- Document and sustain software functionality.
- Customize and implement software tools, processes, and metrics.
Education:
Completion of a four-year bachelor’s degree program or its equivalent.
Certifications, Accreditations, Licenses:
Preference given to candidates with professional certifications.
Experience:
0-2 years of experience.
Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficiency in designing interactive applications.
- Strong understanding of relational databases, SQL, etc.
- Thorough grasp of test-driven development.
- Capability to document requirements and specifications.
- Ability to acquire proficiency in C, C++, Java, Python, .Net, etc.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies and release processes.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
