Key Responsibilities:

  • Together with technical, product, and customer-facing teams, help develop innovative data-driven, privacy-preserving advertising and marketing products.
  • Develop and apply quantitative methodologies to address these problems by working with teams to create pertinent questions like advertising success, incrementality assessment, the influence of privacy, user behaviour, brand building, targeting, and bidding.
  • To provide scalable answers to business challenges, consider combining large-scale experimentation with statistical-econometric, machine learning, and social-science approaches.
  • Create experiments, suggest new ways to prove causation, evaluate attribution, and provide strategic answers using data by employing causal inference techniques.
  • Work with huge, intricate data sets. Conduct comprehensive analyses that cover data collection, defining requirements, exploratory data analysis (EDA), developing a model, and communicating the findings verbally and in writing to business partners and executives.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Master’s degree in Statistics or Economics, or a quantitative discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with statistical software (e.g., R, Python, MATLAB, pandas) and database languages.

Preferred skills: 

  • PhD degree in a quantitative discipline.
  • 2 years of experience in working as a Data Scientist, including expertise with statistical data analysis such as linear models, multivariate analysis, stochastic models, sampling methods.
  • Knowledge of how to formulate and translate business issues, as well as how to use statistical methods to determine an answer from the facts at hand.
  • Knowledge of large-scale machine learning datasets.
  • Know how to use causal inference techniques (such as split-testing, instrumental variables, difference-in-difference methods, fixed effects regression, panel data models, regression discontinuity, and matching estimators), as well as the potential outcomes framework. understanding of structural econometric techniques.
