Manual Tester (Functional Tester)

To be eligible for this role, you should have:

• 0-1 years of hands-on experience in testing web/desktop/RPA solutions.
• Strong practical experience in manual functional testing of projects (web/full stack/desktop).
• Ability to identify various scenarios and create effective test cases.
• Proficiency in capturing and reporting bugs accurately in both automation and manual testing projects.
• Hands-on experience in the Software Testing Life Cycle.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with globally distributed teams.
• Capability to conduct peer reviews of test cases and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Experience with Azure DevOps/JIRA or other defect tracking tools.
• Familiarity with different project approaches such as Agile and Waterfall.
• Ability to prioritize and self-organize daily workload, and provide timely reports to the team.

Your main responsibilities and deliverables include:

• Analyzing requirement documents, creating and executing test cases.
• Identifying gaps in requirements, communicating with the team, and resolving them.
• Taking ownership of data collection, cleansing, validation, and setup for seamless test activity.
• Ensuring the integrity of the test environment throughout the testing phase until closure.
• Analyzing test results for database impacts, errors, bugs, and usability.
• Daily bug reporting and providing test completion percentage to project members.
• Managing defect life cycle process using DevOps/JIRA or other tools.
• Delivering test artifacts with the highest accuracy, including test cases, traceability matrix, test summary, execution sheet, and bug reports.
• Conducting peer reviews of test cases and facilitating knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Collaborating with team members on testing and implementation project activities to achieve project and client goals.
• Completing assigned tasks on time and providing regular status reports.

Ideally, you will also have:

• Good hands-on experience in Jmeter or other performance testing tools.
• Experience in test automation using Selenium with Java.
• Proficiency in performance testing tools such as Jmeter.
• Familiarity with functional testing for RPA bots.
• Experience in client interaction regarding requirements for automation projects.
• ISTQB certification or other testing certifications.
